What are some of your idea for job creation?
I was thinking that since we have about 20 million more people than jobs, we begin to create “craft shops”.
The government can rent out these large warehouses, one in each county. All the unemployed will go there, knit oven mits, small blankets, make trinkets, try to make some sweaters, etc.
Then, we will sell these items to Wal-Mart. If Wal-Mart doesn’t want them due to low quality we will create these stores called “Flea Markets” (I once saw this along the interstate) This will revitalize the American economy, one piece of clothing at a time. We will put a “Made in America” sticker on each item sold.
We should be ramping up oil exploration and wind farming–those would be skilled green jobs that help improve our infrastructure and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Instead of giving money to the other auto manufacturers, that money should have gone to Tesla Motors so they can quadruple their production of all-electric cars–more skilled green jobs for people, even if they have to be retrained for it.
