how to knit for beginners?
okay. so, I’m totally clueless.. about everything. how DO you knit?? can anyone explain it or recommend books, videos, programs, websites, stores, or give a link? thanks!
There are lots of knitting tutorials on YouTube. Just enter something like “beginner knitting” or “knitting tutorial” in the searchbox. Your local yarn store probably also gives lessons. And the local library almost certainly has knitting books & DVDs for beginners.
Also you might consider joining Ravelry. They have lots of experienced knitters who can give you advice and encouragement when you get stuck or have a problem.
