What would be a good type of yarn to use if you are knitting a bag?
Definitely look at cottons and cotton/acrylic blends. They’re washable, and most importantly, they don’t stretch which is bad for bags! If you wanted to do wool, check out some of the felted wool patterns out there. They’re meant to shrink, and it’s a great introduction to felting, because size isn’t critical.
