knitting a shawl with a ladder yarn?
Has anyone used this yarn? does it work best with a straight garter stitch? will it show a pattern stitch? I just want to make the simple triangle shawl, cast on 1, knit into the back and the front, etc.

It’s best with a simple stitch pattern, like stocking stitch, garter stitch (my preference) or a light mesh. To get the best out of the yarn you should use quite large needles, and let the yarn just work itself out. Fancy patterns, lace or cabling don’t really show through in my experience.
