How do you enlarge a knitted toy pattern?
I have a pattern for a knitted toy lamb and I want to make it significantly larger (like 3 or 4 times larger). How would I go about doing this?
You could make it a bit larger by using bigger needles or thicker yarn. 3-4 times larger needs a new pattern because the proportions will be different. For example if you made a lamb and an adult sheep the adult body would be twice the size of the lamb but the head would not be twice as big.
