Please help me find this knitted Reindeer Christmas stocking pattern!?
A friend of my aunt knitted my sisters and I christmas stockings with a reindeer motiff on them. (I’ve included a link that has a picture of what they look like) http://www.primarilypracticalknits.com/images/photos/stocking-rudolph-bbg-500w.jpg
I would love to knit one for my husband, but my aunt’s friend has since passed away and I can’t find this pattern anywhere. Do any of you know where I could find it? Thank-you!
My first suggestion would be to try Mary Maxim or Annie’s Attic. These patterns aren’t free, but are quite reasonably priced. They aso have a ton of the traditional stuff, and have both been around for years. Truthfully, your aunt’s friend may well have gotten her pattern from either one of these places to begin with! Both have websites. Google can find the addresses for you. I get their paper catalogs, and can never recall what’s in which one. I have seen something similar in one of them, however. Go have a look.
If that doesn’t work out, use Google and try looking up “knitting pattern stocking reindeer.” You may find something close enough to be usable.
