I want to make some easy money by knitting things, but all I know how to knit it simple things like scarves, pot holders, doilies, and coasters. I’m very good at regular knitting but I don’t know how to do all that fancy stuff yet, so if you have any suggestions of what I could knit, that would be great! Thanks so much ! [:

It’s a bit tricky, because in many cases the person who created the pattern has rights to it and it’s sometimes illegal to sell what you make from said pattern. My suggestion is knitting simple things from your own designs, such as a garter stitch (knit all rows) scarf or coaster. Also, gauge can be important. If you knit with bigger needles, you’ll have a finished product much more quickly. This may not be terribly satisfying to you as an artist, but financially, it’s quite nice!
