where can I find discount yarn that won’t cost me big bucks to ship?
I live just outside of Toronto, Ontario and need some super bulky yarn and size 6.5mm DPNs for knitting mittens for charity. I need yarn for about 40 people, 100g makes 1 pair of mittens and I need the yarn and neadles to be cheap and the shipping to be cheaper.
I’d recommend Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, which retails at about $7 for 170 grams/106 yards (97 meters). It’s 80% acrylic and 20% wool.
