What are some easy crocheting projects for beginners?
I am a preteen and love to crochet but when i try to find crocheting projects they seem a little complicated to read and to do. Can anyone help me? All the abbreviations confuse me.

I don’t know if you have ever heard of amigurumi, but they are basically just toys. Planet June (the link above) has a lot of tutorials and I always suggest it to people. Crochet was a little boring to me until I learned how to crochet in the round (make circles). You can also use cotton yarn to make potholders or dishcloths/washcloths. There are a lot of possibilities.
If you have a hard time reading patterns join a few groups. Crocheville.org is a good one to try. They are child-friendly, so your parents don’t have to worry about you seeing or reading anything innappropriate and they have a section where you can ask for help with patterns. The people are very nice and willing to help.
