Coats Crochet/Knitting Cotton Thread?
I have a 1978 knitting pattern for a eco-friendly shopping bag. The pattern states that Coats Lotus No.8(50g), 2 balls should be used with No.11 knitting needles. I have not been able to find Coats Lotus No.8 on the Coats website and was hoping someone may be able to tell me what I could use as an equivalent.
if I remember correctly no 11 needles were usually used with either 4 or 5 ply cotton yarn
can only suggest purchasing one of these and using no 11 needles see if the test swatch gauge info is similar if not then go with a thinner yarn
