I need advice about buying a circular sock knitting machine.?
How will I know that all the bits are there? Some look awfully rusty, also there are a number of brands, Legare, Harmony, Lamb… is one brand more likely to work?
Do not buy any rusty machine, nor any of a brand that you can not find info about.
Best is to buy a machine that you can test before buying, but if you much post-order or e-bay, go for the machines that have the best on-line documentation and help desk and for a seller with good reputation that is willing to take the machine back if it is not working to your satisfaction.
I have not used circular knitting machines, and I personally would not buy any knitting machine unless I have worked on it myself.
